Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
Hi im from India.My dad recently came to know that one of his relative had left behind some property in his name.the relative had mentioned it in his will. Altough the relative had died nearly 20yrs back can my dad still clam the property and how does he know where the will is and the procedures he must follow to transfer the property in his name.the property is still in the relatives name and nobody has claimed it yet.

you can approach the legal heirs of the relative if any. 20 yrs is quite a long period but you can take help of local lawyer.
