Do I have right to know the reason when fired by employer? How much compensation

Hi,

My Employer is restructuring and they have decided to lay off some ppl.I have been asked to resign ,and I did it.

wanted to know how much compensation I should get?

Can I ask company to shift me in other department where my skill set can be utilised,when I know they are doing recruitment in that department.

kindly let me know in what capacity you were working and the kind of work, years of service etc.

If they are restructuring then if possible the details of the same.

Answer to your question depends upon the nature and type of work, and terms on which you were recruited ie. whether if it was a contract for service or contract of service. So this can be know after scrutinizing the receitals of the recruitment deed.
