Your son should contact the department head where the professor works. If the professor is the department head, your son should see the Dean of Students or the Dean of the College that he is enrolled in. He should read the school rules and regulations to see if there is a greivance procedure. If there is not such a procedure and the discussion with the deans does not work, then he should file in court.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney answer. In addition, if the in-college process doesn't work out, your son can file a complaint with your local employment development department. This doesn't cost anything and they will investigate and take corrective action. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
