Do grandparents have visitation rights if the childs parents were married at the time of birth and are living?

Granparent visitation in Indiana is controlled by two things:

(1) the consent of the parent(s) and/or

(2) by the courts

If there is no consent by the parent(s), then one must file a Petition with the Court.

There is a statutory provision for grandparent visitation, found in IC 31-17-5-1, et seq.
