Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I agreed by telephone (never actually signed any papers) to be a co-signer on a Carcare One Credit Card for a repair that was $567.00. The credit limit was issued for $1,500.00. In one month's time the credit limit was increased and repairs now add up to almost $4,000.00. Is there anything I can do to have my name removed as co-signer short of declaring bankruptcy?

You may be able to have this debt nullified as to you, but more information is required. You will need to consult with a debtors' rights attorney to discuss your options, including bankruptcy.
