Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I was issued a citation for possession of marijuana under an ounce. My two friends were given the same thing.
After speaking with both friends the officers called me on the phone and told me they had concluded that the marijuana was not mine and I could tear up my ticket.
Was there a legal process for what I went to? Is my name in a database with reference to this now?

Check with the clerk's office in that county to make sure nothing was filed. If not, there is no separate database to worry about.
