Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I just need some clarification. Does the law protecting pre-marital property cover the house in which we live? I purchased the house in my name and her name is not on the deed or the mortgage. If we were to divorce does she have any rights to the house or and appreciation it might accrued?

There is no law "protecting premarital property" as such. The courts can favor keeping it with who contributed to it, but there are not enough facts here to determine that the court would really do that. If the question is whether she has some chance of the house value, or at least part of it, being included in the marital estate, the answer is yes.
