Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Filing divorce while in Military

I am a United States Marine, stationed in North Caroliana. My permanant home of record is in Indiana. I pay taxes in Indiana but I live in North Carolina in the base housing provided for my family. I am wanting to file for divorce in the state of Indiana. Is this possible, considering that I am stationed in North Carolina? If it is possible, what are the perameters that surround this issue?

Simple answer is, yes you can. But you do not give enough information to give you further answers. Has your wife ever lived in Indiana or does she now live in Indiana? Do you have children? Real estate?
