Guardianship of child given to grandparents, Now parents want Divorce

My husband and I got guardianship of our grandchild 4 months ago and now the childs parents want a divorce.Can they still divorce without a lawyer and will this change the guardianship in anyway?

If your guardianship has already been approved by the court, then the parents' divorce will have no legal bearing on the guardianship.

In order for the guardianship to be undone, someone would have to petition the court for the guardianship to be undone and then the court would have to dissolve it.
