Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

modification for out of state divorce

I separated from my ex-husband in May of 1996, filed for divorce in October 1996 and moved from Tennessee to Indiana. My divorce was final in January of 1998 in the state of Tennessee. I have lived in Indiana since 1996 and my ex-husbands current address is also in Indiana. I would like to review and possibly modify his financial obligations. For example - medical, educational expenses are currently my responsibility. Can this be done?

Yes. Indiana courts would have jurisdiction. since both of you are living in Indiana, the case could be transferred here.
