Legal Question in Medical Leave in Indiana

Multiple use of time off

How can a company force you to use FMLA for your own illness? Also, at the time they are counting FMLA days against you, they are also making you use your own accrued time (vacation, personal, etc.). And if the doctor places you on disability, then FMLA + accrued time are all used against you. The companies have turned fMLA into a tool to fire employees. Was this really the plan to begin with, or is Indiana just the most anti-employee state there is?
