Dog Bites

My 3year old daughter was bitten in the face

by a dog,we have a law suite going on, they

say it will be put into a trust fund until

shes 18 ,we were wanting to buy a house &

things she needs,is there a way of us getting

part of the money to do these things?????

The lawsuit and the proceeds from it belong to your daughter and not you. You are only entitled to your out of pocket expenses that are a direct result of the injury. All other funds recovered must be put into a trust until she is 18. As far as idems you claim you need for her, she has no duty of support for herself and she therefore does not pay for these items herself.
