Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

gift computer

i was given a new computer as partial payment for computer work and as a christmas present. the warranty and registration is in my name and i have had possesion of it for over 2 years..now i am being told by the person that gave it to me that because she is mad at my wife..she might come and take it back. can she legally do this? she claims to have millions of dollars and bought this pc for me as ''proof''..because mine was broken, and she wanted to impress me.. i have since bought numerous games and soft ware for this pc and i can't afford another pc to run any of these, and have become somewhat dependant on this pc and she nkows it...it is just all out of spite.

Re: gift computer

That computer belongs to you. Title passed to you by gift and by exchange for services. She cannot take it away from you. If she does attempt to take it away, call the cops. She should go to jail.
