What, if any, causes of action are available to a business that is the victim of lost income due to a third party intentionally misrepresenting the name of this business using an internet video?

There are a number of possible causes of action, depending on the nature of the misrepresentation, what kind of business is making the misrepresentation and the amount of lost business that can be documented.

Why do you believe this relates to Indiana law? An internet video can be viewed in all 50 states, and much of the internet hosting is in Virginia. You might want to explore that.

First, note that in many States like Virginia you have only a 1 year statute of limitations. That is a very short deadline.

Second, of course if the video says something that is true or is pure opinion (not purporting to be fact, like I don't like them) then it cannot be litigated as defamation.

However, otherwise you can sue for losses due to defamation.

But HOW does misrepresenting the name of the business result in losses to the business? I am not able to address that without more details.
