Legal Question in Insurance Law in Indiana
I recently turned 18. My parents are divorced and my mother has custody. I need my insurance for various medical reasons, but my father, who I am not on good terms with, has it and will not give it to me. Can I take him to court for my insurance card? What can I do so that I can get the medical care that I need without having to go through him every single time?

Your facts are not clear. I think that you are saying that you have medical insurance through your father's coverage. If this is true, he has an obligation to see that coverage is provided, but he may not necessarily have to provide you your own card. Going to court just for the convenience of having your own insurance card is an expensive route to take.
