Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

if a person purchases a home in october of 2012 and gets married in july 2013 does the house become community property once they are married or does it legally belong to the purchaser. the case is my intende and i bought a house him lending his name myself putting up the money but plan to be married in july at a legal stand point what rights do i have to this house

The house is exclusively yours as long as only your name appears on it. However, that doesn't

mean that the house cannot e considered in the parties calculation of assets when and if it would come to a divorce property distribution decision. So, it might be a good idea to consider an ante nuptial agreement to make sure that all of these issues are understood and agreed upon.
