Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

we have signed a purchase agreement to sell our house. The inspection takes place next week. At this point my husband is feeling worse due to heart issues. Is it possible to break a purchase agreement , We have offered to pay for their inspection and are already giving them 3000, toward closing cost help If we are taken to court ....what can they sue us for... They are in an apartment we have told our realtor after the first week that we needed to stop the purchase. He does not care,

The buyers can sue to compel the sale and recover all of their attorney fees and court costs. You might have to try to make them a decent offer, much over $3000 to try to get out of the contract. If they won't accept an offer, you should go through with it rather than face the court costs and expenses.
