Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Not Using Visitation Rights

I have sole legal and physical custody of my 4 yr old daughter. Her father does not exercise his right to visitation. I have documented each phone call and lack of communication from him for over a year now. He is now demanding and telling me when he can see our daughter and what time. Do I have the right to make him be responsible for setting up time with her? I have never denied him time, it is his own choice. Am I breaking the custody arrangement by not forcing him to take her?

What does your custody order say? Because that's what will guide the court. Without knowing what's in it I can't give an accurate answer.
