Legal Question in Medical Leave in Iowa

I will be using over 200 hrs of sick leave to cover for my FMLA, which means it will be paid leave. I am currently 5 months pregnant. If I tell my supervisor now that I will not be returning after the baby, am I still entitled to the paid leave? Would the resignation date be the last day of maternity leave or the last day before my maternity leave?

Iowa is a right to work state which means that you can be terminated for any reason, good reason, or no reason at all unless you have a contract of employment. I think you could get terminated and lose the family medical leave money if you bring this up prematurely.
