Legal Question in Military Law in Iowa

I was discharged from the air force with a bad conduct discharge for failing a drug test. I did four months in confinement and lost all rank and pay. I had very good marks on my epr's and finished three years of service. Do I still qualify for GI Bill bennefits? Dose my military courtmartial show up on any employment backgroud checks? What odds do I have of getting my discharge upgraded and what is the best way to go about the process?
