Legal Question in Personal Injury in Iowa

I had a food poisoning case against a large food chain. Before the case could go to court, the company went into chapter 11 bankruptcy. It has now restructured and doing business as usual. I'd like to file a new suit now. I am within my statute of lmitations. I had an attorney who said there is nothing more to do and closed my case. Do I have any recourse?

If the entity that wronged you has been dissolved there's nothing more you can do.
