Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Kansas

Police officers went into my apartment without a warrant or legal convent from a person on the lease. They were let in by someone that lives with me, but he is not on the lease. I was wondering if that is justification for legal prosecution.

Police officers usually don't know who is or isn't on a lease. If they get permission to enter from someone who seems to have authority to give such permission, that's usually good enough. And someone who lives in an apartment has that authority whether they are on the lease or not. A contrary rule would not serve the interests of justice.
