Statue of Limitations on Credit Card Debt

I live in Kansas. The statue of limitations on court action for credit card debt is 3 years. When does the SOL start? Does it start with the last payment made?

Generally the sol starts from the last payment. However, there are a few other actions that can trigger a new sol count, i.e. promises to pay, refinancing, etc.
