Pension Plan

When getting a divorce is there a way to get half the pension up front or do I have to wait until my ex husband retires to receive it? I believe he has his through Fidelity Group.

If this asset is truly a pension plan, you may not receive the benefits any faster than the Plan Participant could receive them. Pension plan details vary widely; some include the possibility of loans against the account. I hope this information is helpful.
