i sued my father for back child support and the case is closed but i recently found out that he ownes land and more is still owed can i go after it

If you obtained a judgment, you can put it up to chapter 60 and register in the county where the land is located. That may enable you to foreclose on the land, or at least have a lien interest if he ever sells or refinances it.

If you didn't obtain a judgment, then you might be able to refile, depending upon how the last one ended.
