Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kansas

I live in Kansas and own a few acres that are landlocked. My only way of getting access to this land is by boat(across a river) or by driving through a neighbor's property. Getting across the river also involves going through another neighbor's property. It is nearly impossible to get across the river at certain times of the year due to flooding and/or current. Is there any law that allows me to gain access to my land through a neighbor's property? Thanks

You may qualify for an easement by necessity or otherwise. These are fact specific concepts, so you will need to consult diretly with an attorney that has access to more of the details to get a more specific answer. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation.
