If you are about to file bankrutpcy and you have unsecured debts that are withdrawn directly from your bank accounts, including pay-day loans, then closing out your bank accounts is the only way to stop those payments from happening and it is something I recommend to my clients, where appropriate, after I have talked to them about their whole financial picture. In you case, I only have one piece of information, so I cannot make such a sweeping recommendation and can only tell you that it is someothing that can be done.
