Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Kentucky

I filed bankruptcy in 2007. The mortgage company I filed on will not stop contacting me. They continue to show that I am like 60 payments behind on the mortgage loan I filed bankruptcy on. I contacted the law firm that I filed with to take care of the issue and they are no help and haven't even attempted to take care of the issue. I mailed and faxed the mortgage company the bankruptcy paperwork and they continue to harrass me. They also continue to pull my credit score down showing I am behind in payments.

You need to find out if they were given notice in the original bankruptcy and then file an action against them for violating the discharge. You can get attorney fees for damages, so you may want to obtain a lawyer to pursue this issue.
