mobile home lot rent raise

Can my landlord raise my lot rent

due to her rising insurance premiums? Can her expenses be passed on to her tenants even though they own their own mobile home?

Welcome to lesson 1 in free market economics! Every business passes their increased expenses on to the consumer - in this case, that is you. The only barrier to such an increase in your case would be if you have a lease agreement that says she can't do this.

Lesson number 2 in free market economics is that businesses can also pass on increases in price just for the heck of it. Gas prices come to mind.

If you have a lease, then its terms control this situation. If you do not have a lease, then your possession is only "month-to-month" or such other period for which you pay. If you have no lease, she can raise or refuse to accept the rent for the coming period and tell you to get out. She needs no reason.
