receiving stolen property over $300

bought farm truck for $8000 1yr later statepolice show up arest me charge me with it and also tampering with vin # and not transfering it i didnt get a title with it like the seller said i would and vin # plate was missing whenever i look for it 2months later whenever i didnt get title from the seller so i only used it on my farm never on the hiway

This may be something you need to contemplate through a civil action against the individual you origanlly purchased the vehicle from. However, in the meantime, I would advise you to contact an attorney regarding representation in Circuit Court. You are charged with a Class D Felony punishable by 1-5 years in jail.
