Legal Question in DUI Law in Kentucky

victim of drunk driving accident

If I am a victim of a drunk driving accident where the drunk driver ran a red light and totaled my vehicle. Can I seek damages above and beyond the cost of the vehicle and or medical expenses to compensate me for the fact that any replacement vehicle I may purchase would be older and in worse shape than my original vehicle, due to the value of the original vehicle?

You may be entitled to damages for pain and suffering and other damages depending on your situation. I would recommend you consult with an attorney prior to agreeing to any sum offered by the gentleman or his insurance company. Feel free to call me if you would like to discuss further.
