Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

anullment

I married a woman then found out later she was still married to two other men, whe is still amrried to all three of us, and was indicted on bigamy charges. Does that mean that our marriage is voided or do i need to get a divorce. There is no children or property involved.

Re: anullment

Under KRS (Ky. Revised Statute) 403.120, you have

one year from the date you discovered the bigamy

to have your marriage annulled by a court.

Good luck.

Re: anullment

In Kentucky you can only be married to one person at a time. If she was still married to No. 1 or No. 2 when you and she married, you have a void marriage, but you would be required to file for an anullment in the county where you reside.
