Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

child custody

My fiance's ex was just served a warrant for suspicion of drug activity in her home, they share a son who resides with his mother. The police found drugs in the home, and she claimed that it was her boyfriends. Her boyfriend was pulled over by the police prior to this occuring, he lives in the home as well. Is there any way that my fiance can seek temporary custody because of what the police found in the home?

Re: child custody

One of the jurisdictional hurdles that has to be shown to seek modification of a permanent custody order is a "change in circumstances". If this shows a change in circumstances, then the answer is yes. Whether the attempt would be successful is more complicated.
