Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

My daughter's father is claiming her on his taxes and has her for less than 6 months of the year. Not only this, but he is not paying child support. What rights do I (the mother) have in this matter? And no we were never married and we have not gone to court for custody. Yes he is on her birth certificate.

The IRS has guidelines on who should claim a child based on where the child lives during the year. You may be able to file a dispute claim through the IRS. You could also file an action for custody/support to have this issue resolved by the courts.
