can one person in divorce process request the court to order marriage counseling if yes what if the other refuses to go

The Kentucky statutes provide for a judge to order a reconciliation conference, but it does not provide for ordering ongoing counseling. You simply file a motion with your court requesting a reconciliation conference and stating that you deny that the marriage is irretrievably broken.

If you are representing yourself, you can probably just make this motion orally at the next court date if there is one scheduled.
