divorce pick up of child

parent was ordered a place for her to meet to drop off and pick up child Grandparent has the child during the time of pickup parent is always working during that time. Is grandparent required to meet or other parent required to pick up at home of grandparent.

The order is supposed to dictate what happens, but the real question is what is reasonable to do in this situation? The reason that is the question is that if you take this before a judge, she or he will most likely change the order to reflect a reasonable compromise or accomodation.

So, if the grandparents are not too far out of the way and if there is no overt hostility from the grandparents, then go pick the child up there. If they are far away or hostile, try to work out a compromise with the other parent. If both fail, you can go to court knowing your tried to be reasonable about it.
