Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Kentucky

Lexington, KY - Can a landlord have a clause in the lease saying the tenant will automatically pay a $150 "standard turnover fee"? From my understanding of a security deposit, this seems like it would be unenforceable in court. Any suggestions?

There is nothing in URLTA that prohibits it. If the term is in your lease agreement, and you assented to the terms of that lease by signing it, you are responsible for paying it. Landlords often require deposits and payments that are non-refundable, for instance, pet deposits, application fees, etc.
