Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky

Easements

How can I type my own written defense for a civil summons over an easement on a piece of property that I am purchasing on land contract. To my knowledge there is no easement on record for the plaintiffs to use my drive.

Re: Easements

Just set down at a typewriter and write. I do not know what the complaint says so, I cannot tell you what to put in your answer. Just put your reasons for not agreeing with the complaint down. Send a copy to the plaintiff's attorney (or to the plaintiff if he has no attorney)and file the original with the court clerk. I will tell you that real estate law is VERY COMPLICATED. It is a very specialized field and deals with a LARGE body of case law. There is no "one siae fits all" and quite simply, you cannot do this yourself without help. Take your papers to a local attorney and let him/her review them.
