Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky

Real Estate Taxes

We live in Illinois and sold a house we owned in Kentucky. The closing was a nightmare so we drove back home to Illinois and closed two weeks later by fax. We closed the end of July. I recieved an email from my realtor end of November that the buyers closing attorney made a mistake on the real estate tax credit that we gave the buyers and that I now owe more money. Am I legally required to pay? This has been a bad experience for us and I has already cost me. I say its their fault and someone on their end shoud anty up.

Thank You,

Re: Real Estate Taxes

I would enjoy speaking with you about this problem in the office. If you live near Roselle, Illinois, you should call Eileen, my secretary and make an appointment. If you are not nearby, then you should make an appointment with an attorney who is both near to you, and is conversant with real estate law. GOOD LUCH!
