Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana

Father passes away,was in the middle of a divorce with the step mom. does everything go to her. or should the children be entitled to half of his estate?

The children are entitled to 100% of their father's estate, if he had no will. His wife already owns 50% of their community property. She would also get usufruct over the other 50%. She will have to account for the property to their kids when they turn 18.

I agree with Mr. Lambert. The children, no matter what age, should have independent representation.
