Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

Is it legal for your bondsman to watch me leave my house and then get the landlord to let them into my residence without my consent, presence, or knowledge and then go through all of my stuff? Is it legal for them to point guns at my children and then scream at them??

Bondsmen have a wide latitude when pursuing a fugitive under a valid arrest warrant. Their right to pursue the fugitive is broad, but not absolute. You may want to talk to a local attorney and give him or her the full facts.
