Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

Can the local police harass me and go through my mother's phone records without her or my permission about a prank call that they said came from the phone while I was at work and the person said that the voice was a male and I am woman and I let several people use my phone but the times do not coincide with when they said the call was made. Can they continue to harass me if everything they are saying is not matching up to nothing. And they also don't want to tell me who made the complaint so I don't even know if I even know this person. What can I do?
