Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

For the past 5 months or so, my wife and I and our 2 children have been living with my parents. We have one bedroom in the house that my parents designated as "ours". Yesterday, I discovered inadvertently that the alarm clock they had placed in the room actually doubles as a video recorder. On the bottom, there's a control panel for video and audio playback, and the light under the "Rec" indicator was lit.
I pulled out the SD card and loaded it into my computer and on the card was a large number of 2-minute video clips, with audio. I could go back and see and hear anything and everything that happened in that room over the past day. Needless to say, I was quite disturbed. My wife and I and the kids all change clothes in that room. On rare occasions where the kids were away, my wife and I have had sex in that room. And all of this has been captured, for who knows what reason.
I am disgusted and disturbed at this. I want to know how much of our private time has been saved and stored away, and I want any of it that might exist destroyed. What should I do? Do I have grounds to press charges against my parents for this kind of invasion of my family's privacy?
Obviously, we will be moving out ASAP. But I really feel like something needs to be done about this.

There are crimInal charges you can press if there is evidence that they intended to record for prurient interests.
