Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
assault charges
my son was assaulted by his cousin, hit in head with bottle and continously hit in head with fist
there were no witnesses
how strong a case do we have on assault or batter charges

Many cases involve the victim as the only witness. You don't give enough of the other information (and you might not know what that information is) for anyone to evaluate the case.
The only solution is to report the crime to the police and see what happens. Hopefully your son has gotten all the needed medical attention for his injuries.

Victim/complainant is most material witness. Complain the police of your occurance/assult for taking the criminal action
