Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

Some girl my kids father was involved with called my phone froma private number and then later on that night showed up at my mothers while me and my sister were putting our kids in the car after i caonfronted here she left but came back later on that night with a car load of girls now mind you at the time we lived in an area of town were gunshots are heard daily she was pulling off and i pulled off behind her when we got to the sop sign i heard gunfire which made me bump her car she filed a police report which i knew nothing about now im charged with attempted second degree murder criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon this happened over a year ago and i dont even own a gun and would never put my hands on one i have four kids and im really worried about where they would be without me what should i do?
