Legal Question

Help With terminally ill out of state Parent

I need to obtain POA for my Father. I reside in Maryland and he in Batone Rouge, LA, in a Nursing Home Hospice. My father is being abused by his siblings and his former spouse and I feel helpless. Please advise. Thank you in advance
