child support

Can you get child support if you do not have custody of the child?? Meaning there has been no custody aggrement at all.

You can file for it but the other parent might take the child to avoid payment.

I suggest consulting a lawyer to see if all issues can be resolved. If you can reach an agreement with the other parent the attorney's fees for drafting the judgment can be quite reasonable.
