community property rights

my husband was buying a house for years. he finally finished paying for ity after we got married. he was paying for it for three years while we were married. he is presently ill. of he is to pass away and i survive him am i entitltd to any part of this house under comminity?

Re: community property rights

You have a right to be reimbursed for your share of the community used to pay for his separate property. Maybe a will would be advantageous in that he could leave you the house or agree that he owes you a certain amount for helping him pay for his separate property. He might also wish to allow you to live in the house after his death if that is your expectation.
