i have an eleven year old son, and now want to put my name on his birth certificate as paternal father, what do i do and about how much it will cost?

File a Petition to establish paternity and after that is established, obtain a judgment ordering a new birth certificate be issued. Cost depends on whether the mother fights it and whether you have taken care of your son for the last 11 years. Anywhere from $750-$2,500 depending on the circumstances...plus court costs.
