Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

father on the child's birth certificate is not the real father. Paternity was done within a few weeks of birth plus has court order to have name changed to corrected one. state of louisiana denied this because childs mother was still married at the time of birth. How is this possible that they are just denying name change when paternity and court ordered

A child born during the existence of a marriage is considered the child of the marriage. A court order will have to establish paternity, terminate the presumed paternity and order vital records to amend/correct the document.

The strongest presumption of paternity is "the husband of the momma is the daddy of the baby." There are 2 fathers.....the bio father and the presumptive legal father.
